Note on individualization: If your 4ALLPORTAL is highly customized or if you installed individual apps, please contact your implementation partner before upgrading. We recommend checking your custom contents, especially layouts and object renderers, carefully after an upgrade.

Breaking Changes

New Spring Version

Major version 5.0.0 is based on a newer version of Spring, which closes potential security gaps.
What to do: Before upgrading to Core 5.0, you must first update to the latest Core version 4.49.
What to do: After upgrading the Core to 5.0, all other installed 4Apps must be updated to their new major version, too. Please read the release notes, for some 4Apps require an upgrade to the latest minor version first.

Solved Bugs

• Fix slow or canceled loading when scrolling through large lists of search results
• Fix for not displaying a new label translation directly after editing
• Fix the erroneous type ahead in the import tagging templates that occurred when uploading files from modules other than the Files module

Patch releases

• Fix the cleaning up of the type-ahead indexes, which may contain value option keys

Version 5.0.2

• Fix incorrect image size in metadata caused by prioritizing EXIF tags (e.g., ExifImageWidth over ImageWidth)
