New Features

Relevance-Based Sorting for Typeahead Reference Fields

Typeahead searches in reference fields now return referenced objects in a more relevant order. Instead of being sorted by creation time, matching objects are ranked by how closely they match the entered search term, with exact matches shown first, followed by prefix matches and partial matches. Entries within the same relevance tier are sorted alphabetically by the configured search field, using friendlyname as the default.
Please note: Existing tokenization and full-text search behavior remain unchanged.

Predefined Job Role and Experience Level per Role

Administrators can now define default values for job role and experience level for each role in the role configuration. These values are automatically applied to new users assigned to the respective role. If default values are available, the corresponding Welcome Screen pages are skipped for these users.
Please note: By default, no values are preconfigured for either field.

Technical Changes

Internal HttpClient Improvement

We have added support for the properties spring.http.client.connect-timeout and spring.http.client.read-timeout in the internal HttpClient (e.g. the derivate service).

New 4APQL Function for Relevance Sorting

We have added new function getRank to 4APQL for relevance scoring of string fields against a search expression, usable in fields and sort parameters.

• Fix for not correctly wrapping long text in Selection Renderer fields
• Fix reference search failing on SQL Server due to invalid SQL generated by the relevance scoring expression
