New Features

Kafka-based Event Synchronization for On-Premise Installations

We have implemented a Kafka-based event system which enables on-premise installations to synchronize changes with 4ALLPORTAL cloud services.
An on-premises microservice consumes relevant events from the local Kafka instance and transmits them to the cloud via REST. In the cloud, these events are secured, validated, and made available as internal Kafka events.
Please note: Security, authorization, and validation logic are enforced centrally within the cloud environment.

New 4ALLPORTAL Manual

Our new user manual https://service.4allportal.cloud, which is already accessible via the in-app help, can now also be opened via the "Help" button in the user profile.
The new manual covers 4ALLPORTAL version 4 and will replace the old version 3 manual (https://docs.4allportal.net/docs3). The old manual is no longer being updated and will be removed in the near future.

Solved Bugs

• Fix for not displaying all configured default values in a search renderer after resetting the renderer
• Fix overlapping download profile names in an approval task
• Fix for throwing double error message after saving
• Fix metrics of type COUNTER with no explicit value. They are now correctly sent instead of being silently dropped.
• Fix incorrect color handling in image conversion: Add the explicit color type (TrueColorAlpha) for RGB/CMYK images to prevent color loss.
