Note on individualization: If your 4ALLPORTAL is highly customized or if you installed individual apps, please contact your implementation partner before upgrading. We recommend checking your custom contents, especially layouts and object renderers, carefully after an upgrade.

New Features and Improvements

Compatibility with 6.0+

This release adds compatibility with Core 6.0 or higher. Core Engine versions below 6.0 must stick with the DAM version 5.12.

Improvements

• Preparing downloads is now significantly faster on network file systems (e.g. NFS): downloaded files and generated ZIP archives are copied and written in large chunks instead of small buffers.
• The chunk size is configured in 4allportal-core via fourallportal.filesystem.transfer-buffer-size (default 16MB) or the environment variable FOURALLPORTAL_FILESYSTEM_TRANSFER_BUFFER_SIZE.

Version 6.0.2

• Fix an error during file processing when a file bean carried properties that are not defined in its module configuration. Such properties are now skipped instead of breaking the update
