New Features

New Approval Options: Validity and Rejection

In an approval, the approving persons can now set an expiry date. After this date, the approval will no longer be valid. This can be edited after approval, if required.
Additionally, approvers can now reject individual approval objects or the entire package, providing a reason for rejection. The requesting person will receive an email for changes to the validity date and rejected objects.

Solved Bugs

• Fix an error during file processing when a file bean carried properties that are not defined in its module configuration. Such properties are now skipped instead of breaking the update.

Version 6.2.1

New Features

IDML Download for InDesign Documents

InDesign documents (.indd) can now be downloaded as IDML files. The IDML derivative is generated during preview generation by the InDesign Server and is offered as an additional download profile in the DAM.

The profile is disabled by default. Enable it per user or group via the new permission Allow IDML Download (file.allow_idml_download). The permission is only available when the indesign-server feature flag is active.

Solved Bugs

• Fix deleting a file through the API: the file is now removed from the storage as well, not only from 4ALLPORTAL.
• Fix replacing a file writing the new content into a different folder: the target folder is now resolved from the folder the file actually lives in, so the existing file object is replaced instead of a new one being created elsewhere.
• Fix the folder reference of files that are imported with a relative path in their name: they are now linked to the folder created for that path instead of the folder the import started from.

Version 6.2.2

• Fix the shift of markups on the image
• Fix the status indicator on the ReviewItem tile

Version 6.2.3

• Fix missing group labels for operations (e.g., in the context menu)

Version 6.2.4

Improvements

The changes to the Approval module introduced with versions 6.2/6.2.2 have been reverted to the behavior of version 6.1. The functionality introduced in 6.2 did not yet work as intended in all scenarios. Reverting these changes allows us to further refine the implementation before making it available again.
Please note: This patch restores the Approval module behavior from version 6.1.
