Note on upgrading: If you skip a version when upgrading, check all release and patch notes in between for important information. They apply cumulative.
Note on individualization: If your 4ALLPORTAL is highly customized or if you installed individual apps, please contact your implementation partner before upgrading. We recommend checking your custom contents, especially layouts and object renderers, carefully after an upgrade.

New Features and Improvements

Compatibility with Core Engine 6.0+

This release adds compatibility with Core 6.0 or higher. Core Engine versions below 6.0 must stick with the Essentials version 5.7.

Collection-Specific Notes

We now provide the option to enable collection-specific notes. This allows users with the necessary permissions to add notes to a collection. These notes are separate from the global notes on a file's tile. This configuration option is already available for star and color markings.
Please note: Collection-specific notes are not available by default.
What to do:

• Layout: Add comment to the proxyActions configuration of the RichTileIconList (proxyActions = ['comment']).
• Field: In module f_collection_item, create CEText field "comment" to store the comments (must be the same as in the Files module).
• Permission (optional): In module f_collection_item, create a feature permission "show_note" (must be the same as in the Files module).
