Installation of the Authentication Service SSO

Requirements

• installed 4App Core Engine, version 3.8.x or higher for the possibility to download. The web service supports version 3.6 or higher, though.
• installed 4App Authentication Provider LDAP (not required for installing this 4App, but necessary for its usage).

Further Requirements

• the downloaded web service file must be installed on a Windows server connected to the domain for which SSO should be processed
• Java JDK 17
• Apache HTTP Server ("HTTPD")
• Apache Tomcat 9 (version 10 is currently not supported)

Installation of the 4App

The Authentication Service SSO is available as a separate 4App (4allportal-authentication-service-sso) and can be downloaded and installed via the app management in the administration area. After installation, activate the 4App and restart the system.

You now find new admin snap-in Authentication/LDAP provider SSO extension in the administration area of your 4ALLPORTAL. The snap-in allows to download the required web service file.
