Welcome to the Color Detection Documentation!

The 4App Color Detection automatically determines the dominant colors of imported DAM images, as well as parameters black/white and transparency. Using this metadata, images can be searched for their dominant colors, black and white character or transparency. Already imported images can be considered by refreshing previews.

After installation, new subpanel Color Search in each asset's detail view of the DAM, as well as new search panel Color Search in the search sidebar of the Files module are available.

Supported Core and DAM Versions

The 4App Color Detection is supported starting from Core and DAM versions 3.6 or higher. Please consider the release notes.

Supported Formats

The 4App uses the OpenCV library, function imread. The supported image formats can be found here (opens new window).
