Welcome to the Desktop App Documentation

The 4ALLPORTAL Desktop App enables users to use all 4ALLPORTAL functions without any browser. It is a native application which uses its own browser (Electron) with additional functionalities.

The key feature of the Desktop App is the option to drag-and-drop files out the 4ALLPORTAL to any target on your computer (e.g., a folder, the Adobe Creative Cloud, or any other application which accepts images, such as Microsoft Word).

Please note: Per default, only files from modules Files (main view) and Collections (detail view) can be dragged to and opened on the desktop.

Supported Core Engine Version

The 4App Desktop App is supported starting from Core Engine version 3.2 or higher.
Core Engine version 4.x or higher requires Desktop App version 4.x or higher.
