# New features and improvements
We added a basic video cutter to the detail view of video files: You can now view, crop, and change the ratio of small and medium sized video files without any additional software directly in your system.
Permission: Video cutting is disabled by default and must be enabled for each role in the role-based module settings of the files module. Logged in users must log out and in once to use the feature.
Customizing: You may customize the ratio menu and add or remove ratios from the default. (More details).
# How to get these improvements
- Upgrade 4App Core Engine to version 3.10 or higher
- Upgrade 4App Digital Asset Management to version 3.10 or higher
- Install the 4App Videocut in the 4ALLPORTAL
