# Compatibility for 4App Core Engine version 4.0

This release adds compatibility with Core Engine 4.0. Core Engine versions below 4.0 must stick with the 4ALLPORTAL LDAP Sync User Release version 1.

# Technical Changes & Admin Instructions

# 4App Authentication Base No Longer Required

We removed the dependency to 4App Authentication Base. The functionality is included in 4App Core Engine from version 4.0.
What to do: Please remove 4App Authentication Base before you upgrade to 4App Core Engine 4.0 and LDAP Sync User 3.0.

The existing configuration still works.

# How to Get these Improvements

  • Upgrade 4App LDAP Sync User to version 2.0
  • Dependency: Upgrade 4App Core Engine to version 4.0 or higher
  • Dependency: Upgrade 4App Authentication Provider LDAP to version 5.0 or higher
