# Compatibility with Core Engine Version 4.4

This release adds compatibility with Core Engine 4.4.
Please note:

  • Core Engine versions below 4.0 must use LDAP Sync User release version 1.
  • Core Engine versions from 4.0 to 4.3 must use LDAP Sync User release version 2.

# Technical Changes & Admin Instructions

# 4App Authentication Provider LDAP No Longer Required

We removed the dependency to 4App Authentication Provider LDAP. Its functionality is included in 4App Core Engine from Core version 4.4.
What to do: Please remove 4App Authentication Provider LDAP before you upgrade to 4App Core Engine 4.4 and LDAP Sync User 3.0.

The existing configuration will still work.

# How to Get these Improvements

  • Upgrade 4App LDAP Sync User to version 3.0
  • Dependency: Upgrade 4App Core Engine to version 4.4 or higher
  • Dependency: Remove 4App Authentication Provider LDAP
