# Logging and error monitoring

The 4ALLPORTAL comes with several in app logging tools to help you monitoring and analysing background processes. You find them in the administration area in our snap-in group Protocol overview.
All Core Engine snap-ins are described here (opens new window). In case you need to get in contact with our support team, these snap-ins provide you with the necessary information for error fixing.

The following describes the default configuration of the snap-in. For customizing, take a look here (opens new window).

# Shares

For a shares monitoring go to Administration area/Protocol overview/Shares.

This snap-in provides an overview of all contents that were shared by all system users in any module, e.g. eTickets from file module.

Each log record gives you the following information:

  • creation date
  • shared objects
  • share link
  • part of (= sender)
  • validity (only detail view)
  • recipient (only detail view)
  • subject (only detail view)
  • group (only detail view)
  • theme (only detail view)
  • form data (e-mail content, only detail view)

Please note: As soon as you delete an entry via the toolbox, a share will no longer be accessible!
