# Typescript/HTML Substitutes C#
The PowerPoint plugin was rebuilt based on Typescript and HTML. The C# implementation is omitted.
# Microsoft 365
The PowerPoint Plugin from version 5.0 requires PowerPoint in the Microsoft 365 version. Older Office versions are not supported.
# New Features and Improvements
# Complete Rebuilt of the PowerPoint Plugin
The PowerPoint plugin was structurally converted to a Microsoft add-in based on the existing 4ALLPORTAL frontend (Typescript/HTML).
Please note that there are changes in the installation and the use of third-party systems. Please refer here.
# Support for SSO
The login changed to the standard 4ALLPORTAL login. If you enabled SSO for your 4ALLPORTAL, a login via SSO is also possible for the PowerPoint Plugin.
# Support for Mac Users
The plugin can now be used with a mac computer as well.
# New User Manual
The rebuilt plugin is supported by a new user manual here (opens new window).
# Additional Improvements
- Users do not need to set up server settings anymore. The server settings moved to downloadable installation file
manifest.xml. - A new sidebar shows the implemented image files within a PowerPoint presentation.
- Image files can be updated via the sidebar.

The client-side installation of the PowerPoint plugin has changed.
- Client installation
- Users can download a new configuration file via the 4ALLPORTAL web frontend and integrate it into PowerPoint. Please refer here.
- Global installation
- Administrators can provide the PowerPoint Plugin globally. Please refer here.
